Biography
Faiza Rao received Ph.D. (2016) degree in Natural Sciences with a specialization in Genetics from the University of Science & Technology of China. Between 2016-2017 she was an Assistant Professor in the Zoology Department of The Women's University Multan, Pakistan, and won an HEC research grant for her research projects. Between 2018-2019 she was Chairperson of the Zoology department at Punjab Group of Colleges and also established a Zoology laboratory on Campus. She joined Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Reproductive Health Research, School of Medicine, Xiamen University, China for her Post-doctorate (2019-2022). She is also affiliated with the Center to Advance Level Research & Development, Pakistan serving as Director of Biological Sciences and Assistant Research Professor to serve her country in the research field. She had training for Assisted Reproduction Manual Semen analysis and sperm morphology from American Center for Reproductive Medicine. She is also appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Zoology department at the University of Education Lahore, Multan Campus. Her research groups work in two different directions studying reproductive biology, oxidative stress, and environmental effect on animals and humans.
